Framesets are now part of Web history—recall this DART230 site previous version we showed in the first week, so you can see how they work and think about why they have not persisted. For another look at current design, mostly commercial, (formerly featuring iframes) see TheBestDesigns.Also, About.com (now Thoughtco) discussed <frameset> and a return to supporting framed sites.
Watch this space for an example of an iframe site. OK. As I said, iframes get used when loading other content such as AJAX. Note no scroll bars, though. Oh—Google maps uses them
