Here’s a stylesheet that affects link color and action. Click on the link to the left and compare to one that’s not yet visited. See if you can notice the active link color when you click here. Check out the source to see how the stylesheet works.

The class="intro" applied to the first paragraph is followed here by another class that I called "body." You can see the effect a bit better if I type in some more text here to show how justified type appears, and the double spacing (14/28), choices not available in HTML. That's one reason why W3C is "deprecating" a lot of old HTML tags in favor of style sheets. They would prefer it if designers stopped using common tags such as <FONT>.
