Based on discussions in class of newspaper feature articles and ideas, type and bring in to class next week six article ideas or pitches and with a sentence or two on the background and angle of each and on why it would be of interest to the a local newspaper audience. This will be a graded assignment.

You may select either The Collegian, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The City Paper or The Philadelphia Weekly as your target publication for each idea. The stories should be ones that you think the paper would conceivably want to accept from a contributor (free-lancer). Use the examples and suggestions in Chapter 2 of your text, and the list from Don Fry. Try to use some approaches from both sources.
