Today’s topic is image maps and a chance to look at image maps and JavaScript using Dreamweaver. Reading is HTML, XHTML & CSS Chapter 6 (p. 117), and look also at Visual Design for the Modern Web pages 98-99

From last class, related items include a script I borrowed from the C|NET folks in the link above that uses an: Image map. Then take a look at the code behind the rollovers in the navbar demo .
Here is a simple image map made in Dreamweaver that shows the code behind the three types of hotspots, and here is an image map with popups that I did for another class.
