ENG 330

Part 1

December 7

Dec. 14

Projects are due on-line Monday, December 13. The best system is to put the final project in its own folder so that you don’t have to take down any other sites in your public_html folder. E-mail me your URL (e.g. http://www.lasalle.edu/~beattyj1/finalproj/hello.html) and indicate where you have included JavaScript and the animated GIF.

Final test December 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the lab covers:
All material from October 26 on, specifically
  • color theory, Hex codes and browser-safe palettes
  • project planning (basic steps)
  • frames, iframes
  • forms
  • CSS positioning
  • Dreamweaver(know basic functions and capabilities)
  • JavaScript, DHTML
  • Web development
  • Basic XML, XHTML
Plus XHTML and CSS coding (be able to look at a page of code and spot errors).
Readings are in order: from Gaskill’s Web Site Design Made Easy, chapters 8, 15, 13, 12, 7, 17, 16 (some of these are reviews).
