MYTH: They all become teachers, writers, or taxi drivers.

FACT: They become mayors, company presidents, T.V. producers, physicians, chief executive officers, magazine editors, attorneys, regional managers, battalion commanders, journalists, senior consultants, and other highly successful professionals who use the training gained as English majors to analyze, interpret, organize and express ideas.

Here is a sampling of what our majors are doing now:
