Finish up SEO, HTML5, animated GIF, XML/RSS.
And here is a cleaner list of what HTML5 can do, and here is my basic Prezi on markup languages.
Projects are due on-line Monday, May 6. The best system is to put the final project in its own folder so that you don’t have to take down any other sites in your public_html folder. E-mail me your URL (e.g. http://www.lasalle.edu/~beattyj1/finalproj/somepage.html) and tell me where you put the GIF and JavaScript.

Final test on Thursday, May 9 at 2 p.m. in this lab.
 
 


Final test will cover:
    All material from March 19 on, specifically
  • project planning (basic steps)
  • iframes
  • forms
  • CSS positioning
  • Dreamweaver (know basic functions and capabilities)
  • image maps
  • Web development including SEO, RSS
  • scripting, JavaScript, jQuery (define), DHTML
  • animated GIFs
  • Basic XML, XHTML
    Plus XHTML and CSS coding (be able to look at a page of code and spot errors).
Readings are: from HTML & CSS, chapters 7, 14, 9 and (review) 15, 19. Also the DOM handout.
