Today’s topic is frames. Take a look back at what McIntire says about them in Visual Design for the Modern Web in Chapter 3 (p. 111).
Recognize that some designers such as Jakob Nielsen hate frames: (and he’s not blunt about it): <NOFRAMES>. But there still are some creative sites that use them such as Rivertrout. For another look at current design, mostly commercial, (formerly featuring iframes) see TheBestDesigns and linkdup (more Flash-based).
