Today’s topics are typography, and more on design. For the information Web site, here is an Adobe tutorial on setting up your CSS pages. Reading for today is Visual Design for the Modern Web Chapter 7.

    More design sites with an emphasis on type:
  • A great site for everything typographic (this is the Web typography article)
  • Some definitions (really, a vendor) at the Font Bureau.
  • Microsoft’s gallery of their free fonts that most users have, shown in dummy layouts.
  • Here’s a quite complete interactive tutorial on type anatomy, measurement, and classification from Counterspace
