Table of contents challenge

Everyone wil get a copy of The Economist magazine.

Your task is to reproduce the TOC (Table of Contents) page as closely as you can, in color. (You will only do the first page.)

Major magazines often have proprietary fonts (e.g. Time has the Time typeface), or simply ones that we don't own.

Do your best to match these (note the font for the logo/nameplate). A lot of these are really small, as you will find out.

You can indicate the images with boxes and an "X" if you want.

You should define styles for the section headers, the story entries and the story blurbs, at least. It will take much longer and be less consistent if you don't.

Note the grid structure, and where you will need to define tabs.

Notice how no type touches the edges of the boxes (try left and right paragraph indents).

Due Thursday, March 31.
