Homework: Make a plot of the following two functions
f(x)= e^-x, and
g(x)= 1 - x + x²/2 - x³/6
on the same plot. Plot the functions from x=0 to x=1.3. The distance between consecutive points on your plot should be 0.01. The plot should look like

Bring that plot into a Word document. Add a caption saying "The exponential function and the first few terms of its Taylor expansion." Submit a disk with both Excel and Word files. (You can find a link to some instructions for poltting a mathematical function below.)

Reading: Absolute addressing can be found on pp. XX, and the IF function can be found on pp. XX. (Sorry I lent my book to a student, I'll fill in these references when I get my book back.)
Monday: Excel demonstration on plotting functions (including absolute addressing).
