- Homework:
Use Excel to make a graph or chart from a topic you are
studying in another class. Bring the graph or chart over
into PowerPoint. In addition to this slide, you should
have at least one other slide leading up to or explaining
the graph. Submit a disk with the Excel and PowerPoint
files as well as a photocopy of the page containing the
graph you are recreating.

- Friday:
PowerPoint lab. Spend the entire period preparing a PowerPoint
presentation on one of the 1999 Nobel Prizes. You might
start by looking at the sites below. (The second choice
on each line is simply a "mirror" of the first.)
- Choose a template.
- Copy some text.
- Copy some graphics. (The press releases on the first three
prizes listed below have more graphics than do the latter three.)
- Animate some text or a graphic.
