PHY 105: The Week beginning Oct. 9 |
We reviewed a homework problem. We solved some problems from the Halliday, Resnick and Walker book on circular motion. We discussed the causes of drag and the concept of "terminal velocity".
We started introducing the ideas of conservation laws, kinetic energy, dot-product. We looked at familiar problems of a falling object and a block on an incline from this new perspective.
We also discussed the format of the lab exam and scheduled the second "lecture" test.
