First insert a few rows to make room for the four parameter
values. Choose initial values for the parameters; the amplitude
and period values must be not be zero. Next enter the formula
y(t) = yeq + A cos

into the column next to the data (cell C7 in the example below).
Note that in place of the parameters (e.g. the amplitude A) in
the formula we have used its cell reference using absolute
addressing (e.g. $B$2). Furthermore in place of t, we have used
the cell reference A7 (no dollar signs). After the formula is
entered, copy it down the column. (Excel assumes that we are
working in radians which is what we want.)
