Course Description
Physics 105 is a calculus-based introduction to Mechanics
& Dynamics. Topics include: Translational and Rotational Kinematics, Dynamics
in One and More Dimensions, Systems of Particles, Work-Energy Concepts, Forces
and Fields, & Fluid Mechanics.

All class information and communication, including resource links, mail, news, labs, assignments, exam news, past exams,class notes, grades, etc., will be available through WebCT . Access WebCT via the mylasalle portal. It is your responsibility to check the class site daily.
Calculator
All students are required to have a TI-84 graphing
calculator or equivalent. Basic calculator functions must include graphing,
tracing, zooming, and parametric equations. The calculator must be carried
to class and to all exams.
Grading
Note: Students must receive
a passing grade (> 60%) in BOTH lecture and lab components
in order to pass the entire course. If this requirement is met, the
final grade is determined by: |

Attendance
Grade lowered one step for every two unexplained lecture
