is a new resource that requires $1.50 for an account, permitting one to
browse and read online a wide range of books—including recently published
ones, e.g., G. O’Collins, Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Marquette UP,
1993) and Markus Bockmuehl (ed.), The Cambridge Companion to Jesus
(Cambridge UP, 2002). To copy or print
the texts, there are nominal fees. One
can read the books online for free, so long as one has $1.50 in the account. ATLAS (American Theological Library Association
Serials) is a growing database of over 600 leading journals in theology and
religion. The Connelly Library does not currently subscribe to ATLAS, though some of
its journals are available online through other subscriptions, e.g.,
ProQuest. An individual subscription
is $150. |
