08:00 PM: Depart Philadelphia on US Airways flight 12 to Madrid.

09:30 AM: Arrive in Madrid and upon exit from customs, greet private coach and assistant for transfer to hotel for check-in.

After hotel check-in, greet your guide at the hotel for a half-day city tour. First stopping at a café for a sample of Churros and Chocolate. Continue on the tour viewing sights such as Palacio Real and the Puerta del Sol.

08:00 PM: Group is met at the hotel by private coach for transfer to restaurant.

09:00 PM: Flamenco Show and ‘Tapas Dinner’ arranged at Florida Park, C/Menendez Pelayo, Frente c/Ibiza, Madrid. Tel: 91-573-7804.

Transfer by private coach to hotel upon completion of evening.

Overnight: Petit Londres Hotel, Madrid.

SUNDAY • MARCH 2 • MADRID •

Continental breakfast at hotel.

Morning self-guided visit to the Palacio Real. (Funds issued to cover entrance)

Afternoon at leisure.

04:00 PM: Private coach will transfer group to bullring.

05:00 PM: Bullfight at Las Ventas – Tendido Row 4.

Transfer by private coach to hotel upon completion of bullfight.

Dinner at group’s leisure.

Overnight: Petit Londres Hotel, Madrid.

Continental breakfast at hotel.

08:00 AM: Greet your local escort and transfer by private coach to the Colegio Ntra Sra las Maravillas, Guadalquivir 9, 28002, Madrid. Tel: 91-782-3500.

Full day of working with children at Colegio Ntra Sra de las Maravillas.

05:30 PM: Coach returns for transfer back to the hotel.

07:00 PM: Private backstreets tour of Old Madrid with Stephen Drake-Jones, including two tapas stops where locals eat.

Overnight: Petit Londres Hotel, Madrid.

Continental breakfast at hotel.

09:00 AM: Greet private coach and local guide for an excursion to El Escorial and Valley of the Fallen. (Entrance fees paid by guide)

05:30 PM: Tour to terminate at hotel.

Dinner by group’s own arrangement.

Overnight: Petit Londres Hotel, Madrid.

WEDNESDAY • MARCH 5 • ALCALÁ DE HENARES •

Continental breakfast at hotel.

09:00 AM: Group is met at the hotel by private coach and full-day local guide for a morning excursion to Alcalá de Henares. Arrive for an orientation tour, visit to Cervantes’ Home and Museum and the University of Alcala.

After sightseeing tour, return to Madrid city center for a lunch break. Coach services ends.

02:30 PM: Guide and the group continue with afternoon visits to the Prado and Reina Museums. (Entrance fees paid by guide)

Dinner by group’s own arrangement.

Overnight: Petit Londres Hotel, Madrid.

Aferwards, enjoy a social and light refreshments with the Spanish students.

Balance of day at leisure.

07:45 PM: Group transfers en foote to a local restaurant.

08:00 PM: Farewell dinner at Tuy Restaurant, Montera Street, Madrid.

Menu: Tapas / Paella / Fruit Salad / Soft drinks.

Overnight in Madrid.

SATURDAY • MARCH 8 • RETURN •

Continental breakfast at hotel.

10:00 AM: Group is met by private coach and assistant for transfer to the airport.

11:10 AM: Group check-in.

01:10 PM: Depart on US Airways flight 11 to Philadelphia.

04:19 PM: Arrive at Philadelphia Airport.
