We are currently taking inquiries for our Summer 2003 Adult Learning
Program Classes. For more information and to reserve a space, please
call 215-951-1804. Registration for the Summer 2003 Program will
take place in May and June.
Highlights of the Program [ top

- Small classes (10 - 15 learners per class)
- Regular feedback from instructors on learners' progress
- Individualized attention in classes
- One-on-one and group tutoring available
- Referral to appropriate support services as needed
The Adult Learning Program classes are held three times each week
for three hours per class. The Adult Learning Program offers both
Adult Basic Education and English Literacy classes in the morning
and evening. All classes meet for two sessions each week. The program
is a ten-month program divided into Fall and Spring Semesters. The
Adult Learning Program at La Salle University is part of the Philadelphia
Adult Education Network, composed of the YMCA of Philadelphia, Lutheran
Children and Family Services, JCCs David Neuman Senior Center, Germantown
Women's Educational Program, and the Elkins Park Library.

What to Expect During Registration

- Allow for an hour and a half for entire registration process
- Identification of your goals
- Registration and placement test
- Personal interview
- Discussion of class schedule and orientation
