CS 152 Spring 2006 Assignment 5 – Information Literacy – Evaluating WWW Pages 10 points

Due: 03/01/2006 at the start of class.

Main Assignment:

Use the WWW to locate material relevant to the following topic. Print the first page of one relevant Web page (i.e. if the WWW page is 10 pages long, I don’t want you to print all 10 pages). When you print, make sure that the URL is printed on the paper. Specify and explain your evaluation using my enhanced CARDS criteria as found on my WWW page. It is preferable if you evaluation is done on computer using Microsoft Word..

· Is genetic engineering of food safe?  What are the risks and benefits? This could also include the safety of feeding  livestock genetically engineered products, such as corn.
