CS 152 Spring 2006 Assignment 6 – Database Search for Research 10 points

Main Assignment:

Use the document database searches available through the Connolly Library to find a full reference for 5 sources for the following topic:

· Is genetic engineering of food safe?  What are the risks and benefits? This could also include the safety of feeding livestock genetically engineered products, such as corn.

The sources may be books, journal articles, even newspaper articles, but they must be located using one of the search databases available at La Salle. Print each reference (full information with title, author, abstract etc), Specify where you located the source (e.g. what database, and what search criteria), and comment on any concerns you have about the source’s usefulness for your topic (i.e. your evaluation can skip strengths and concern itself only with concerns).
