Task:

Identify entities and their attributes, and the relationships involved in the following situation:

The Associated Press (AP) is developing a database to aid its coverage of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. They want to keep track of information for countries, including name, continent it is on, population, as well as medal counts (number of golds, silvers, and bronzes); about events, including name (e.g. Super G Slalom), broad sport (e.g. alpine skiing), location(s) of event, date and time of finals, gold, silver and bronze winner; about athletes, including name, country, gender, age, a notation of any dramatic background, list of previous Olympics participated in and medals won, list of events they are participating in and their finish in the event.

Also,  identify key attributes,  and note if attributes are multi-valued, derived, composite. Note “connectivity” of relationships
