Visual Waveforms of original vs. Compressed and Normalized Waveforms

This is the original waveform. Although at a loud dynamic level, notice the peaks and valleys in the waveform.

Original Recording (mp3 format).

This is the waveform after being compressed. The dynamic level is reduced, and so are the peaks and valleys in the waveform. It is a much more uniform dynamic level (less dynamic range).

This is the waveform after further processing - it has been normalized. The dynamic level is not quite as loud as the original, but the waveform is now much more dense both horizontally and vertically.

Each audio track is now Compressed and Normalized (mp3 format).
