We’ll go over any problems you had with the process of setting up the space for your Web sites later on. Be sure you have successfully used telnet (puTTy in our case) to create a public_html directory on the alpha server. Use Filezilla to see if it’s there. Remember that ftp is a protocol (ftp://alpha.lasalle.edu, then File ->Login As). If your alpha password is not working, note that on the sign-in sheet.

Finally, in relation to top-level domain names, here is a list of the two-character country codes (top-level domains) that show where .cc, and .tv come from, among others, and here is the registration site for the new .biz TLD Neulevel.biz. Here’s an old article on Web 2.0 from a design perspective that nevertheless is a good summary of what Web 2.0 means, and where the Web is going.
