Today’s topic is frames and iframes. Reading is Web Site Design Made Easy in Chapter 12.
Recognize that some designers such as Jakob Nielsen hate frames: (and he’s not blunt about it): <NOFRAMES>. But there still are some creative sites that use them such as Rivertrout. For another look at current design, mostly commercial, (formerly featuring iframes) see TheBestDesigns and linkdup (more Flash-based).

You should be able to understand a frameset that looks like this: Frames example

• An iframe tutorial (note the source—a JavaScript site)

For Dreamweaver, take a look at
