Web Design
ENG 330
Nov. 16
November 23
Part 2
Todays topics are a return to cascading style sheets, and CSS layouts in Dreamweaver which you can use for your final project.
Re-read : Web Site Design Made Easy Chapter 7.
If you have it, this project can be built following Hester's Creating a Web Site in Dreamweaver CS5. That process is also outined at Adobe TV (CS4 lessons are better!). See lesson 3. See also Lesson 5 on how to edit CSS rules (for text). There are a few tips in the CS5 version (e.g. Lesson 8 Controlling CSS from the Properties Inspector).
Also, you can follow this tutorial from Adobe to build a basic 2-column CSS layout, or this on using the CS5 templates.
For future reference, recall the site that will translate or
explain advanced CSS for you, called the Select Oracle. More important is a good reference list for current CSS-3 properties at Bloobery.com.
