Today’s topic is Design Principles. Reading for today is Visual Design for the Modern Web Chapter 2 on Site Analysis and review Chapter 4 on page layout. The list we will cover is: Alignment, Proximity, Repetition, Contrast (CRAP) and Balance, Proportion, Harmony, Unity, Rhythm and Movement. And speaking of contrast, don't do THIS.

Plus here is the assignment for your Personal Web Page. Take a look and be thinking about a design for next class. Note that you will be linking 5 or 6 pages together with local, or relative URLs, as opposed to absolute URLs (see Castro p. 36-37).
