You may schedule an appointment (either in person or phone) but I would like you to contact me ahead of the appointment. Since this is an online independent study, it is imperative that we keep communication open. If you have problems understanding the material, you need to contact me for an explanation. I am available during the day and I will have some limited evening hours to discuss the materials. Depending on your preference, we may consider a "chat" session using WebCT to answer questions.

I will post a set of exercises as assignments for the material in the class. I will also be posting slides that relate to the material. You should read the book--but refer to the slides for reference. This is an aggressive schedule--it may be changed based on how you are progressing.
