Llama fest 1999 was a tremendous success. 3500 members of the public attended and 75 llamas from all over Utah competed for prizes. In 2000, be prepared for some zany, new obstacles never seen before, ribbons five deep in each category.

Llama owners with trailers be sure and park on the hill above the Radio station.  Attendants will direct you as you arrive. For any persons in a vehicle containing llamas or pulling llamas, the admission fee will be waived. We ask that food not be brought onto the property.

If you know llama owners who are not on our postal and/or emailing list, kindly supply their names and addresses, that we may forward them an application form. We are waiving all fees for llama owners. Enter your animals in as many events as you like, without charge. Moreover, there will be cash prizes for the winners in certain categories. It is very important to pre-register, so we can have all details about your farm & animals printed out by festival day and  more easily  announce your animals' names and the farms they came from. We will  also announce any human interest stories about yourself or the animals you might want to attach.

Even if you are an owner who has not spent time with your animals, let the LlamaFest 2000 be an impetus to bring them in from the fields on one or more occasions, and get them ready for the big outing.  The Utah Valley Llama Fest is a very low pressure event, where the audience enjoys the balks and stubbornness of some animals as much as the flawless performance of others. The main thing is to get a large variety of animals out on that day to give the public an eyeful.
