Different cultures seems to have their own type of dragon, and each of these types vary based on body, behavior, and legend.
Eastern Dragons have a long sepent-like body and according to the Chinese, they lose more toes when they fly far away, while the Japanese believes that they gain toes. There are nine types of Chinese dragons, known as the Oriental Dragons.
Western Dragons have bat like wings and forked tongues, with their scales being fuzzy. They always have the ability to breathe out burnig fire and are considered evil hoarders in European lore. Wyverns are depicted to have hind legs, a serpent tail, and two wings with their claws on the tip of their wings. They are vicious lizards who vanquishes anything they come into contact with and are delighted in the taste of human flesh.© Christopher Zelenenki, November 6, 2015
