Framesets are now part of Web history. For another look at current design, mostly commercial, (formerly featuring iframes) see TheBestDesigns or consider this AI site for look-and-feel..Also, About.com (now Thoughtco) discussed <frameset> and a return to supporting framed sites.
As I said, iframes get used when loading other content such as AJAX. Lots of videos are done that way e.g. YouTube (Share->Embed) and in Canvas, rather than using <video>.
