The Firm Presentation represents 20% of your final grade. Most of the emphasis is on the actual presentation. However, the paper represents the support of your arguments. Your target audience is the Board of Directors of the corporation. Your role is to conduct a strategic audit and then make your recommendations. However, the recommendations must be supported by your analysis of both the internal and external environment.

 FIRM ANALYSIS PAPER

  1. TITLE PAGE
  2. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
  3. SWOT CHART
  4. RECOMMENDATIONS
  5. BIBLIOGRAPHY - Citations of Internet research should include the URL and the date.

 FIRM ANALYSIS INGREDIENTS

  1. Short discussion of the firm ( you can include a brief history of the firm at this point or cover it later during the internal scan analysis.)
  2. Thorough review of the industry (you can cover the opportunity and threat components of the SWOT here if you wish.)
  3. Analysis of the Firm’s current situation. (This should include the SWOT chart, Financial Analysis, product placement, market segment analysis where appropriate. Also, A BSG would be useful in examining the firm’s diversification practices, if the firm has diverse holdings.)
  4. RECOMMENDATIONS – The best presentations will have the most useful and creative recommendations. A well considered analysis will make recommendations which could reasonably be sent to the firm and discussed in a serious manner.
  5. CONCLUSIONS
