La Salle Computer Facilities
La Salle is continually renovating all of its facilities. La Salle leads
the Philadelphia schools in the accessibility of computers and high tech peripherals.
Nearly half of the personal computers on campus are Pentium machines running with
eight to sixteen megabytes of RAM. The labs include but are not limited to 1280 X 1024
true color monitors, HP scanners,laser and color printers, quad-speed CD-ROM,
32-bit sound cards, studio quality video, digital video capture, digital drawing tablets,
plus access to the Internet and World Wide Web.
La Salle also boasts access
to Comcast Cable La Salle Channel 56, a high speed T1 connection to the Internet,
a state of the art brand new Communication Center with IMIX digital editing, a Video Toaster,
a broadcast ready television studio, and a digital audio production center.
Software includes: Photoshop, CorelDRAW!, PowerPoint, Macromedia Director,
HIJaak Pro, Visual Basic, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, Fractal Designer,
Adobe Premier, Multimedia Toolbook, C++,
