Liturgical Ministries
The purpose of Liturgical Ministries is to participate in and serve
as support for the Sunday & Daily Liturgies, which take place
in the De La Salle Chapel.
Liturgical Planning Committee
This committee is composed of students, faculty, and staff
members whom meet weekly to plan in detail each Sunday Liturgy on
behalf of the University Community.
Bread Bakers
Students volunteer to bake the Eucharistic Bread each
week according to the approved recipe.
Hospitality
Students prepare and set up the altar and the chapel for
each Sunday Liturgy. They also serve as greeters, distribute the
worship aid and dress the altar before the Liturgy.
Lectors
Students who read the appointed Scriptures at Liturgy.
Eucharistic Ministers
Students who assist in the distributing of the Eucharist,
the consecrated Bread and Wine, at each Sunday Liturgy.
Music Ministry
Students who share their vocal and instrumental talent
to serve as a catalyst for musical participation by the congregation
at each Liturgy.
Art & Environment
Students and staff who decorate the chapel according to
the Liturgical Seasons.
